A 51-year-old South Dakota man has been arrested following an Internet-crimes investigation involving children.
A joint probe by the Parker Police Department and the Brookings, S.D., Police Department resulted in the arrest of Daniel D. Hintz at his home in Aurora, S.D., according to the Parker Police Department.
Hintz was arrested after he used the Internet to contact an undercover Parker detective posing as a juvenile. He is in custody awaiting extradition to Colorado.
He is being held for investigation of Internet sexual exploitation of a child, Internet luring and promotion of obscenity to a minor.
