Passenger traffic at the Colorado Springs Airport was down in June compared with a year ago, despite gains by Frontier Airlines and United Airlines.
Frontier added a daily flight to Denver in May, and United used larger aircraft on many flights in June.
The airport reported about 90,200 passengers last month. That was down 6.4 percent from a year earlier but was the smallest monthly drop since July 2008.
Grand Junction Regional Airport reported traffic of about 22,000 passengers in June, up from about 19,000 a year earlier.
