DENVER—A woman previously charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman run over in a Denver Burger King parking lot faces more charges in the incident.

A Denver grand jury Friday indicted 26-year-old Nadine Montoya on two counts of first-degree murder, including first-degree felony murder, two counts of vehicular homicide, one count each of leaving the scene of an accident and first-degree assault.

The previous murder charge will be dismissed.

Montoya is accused of using her car to hit 49-year-old Lilian Verdonkschot after a confrontation at a Burger King drive-through on May 29. Verdonkschot died at a hospital hours later.

Police say Montoya fled the scene and later surrendered to police. She is being held without bond in the Denver County jail.
