FORT COLLINS — Divers found the body of a Fort Collins nursery worker who went for a swim in a holding pond Sunday evening.
The man has not yet been identified.
He worked at Harmony Gardens Nursery at 4315 East Harmony Road in Fort Collins, according to the Poudre Fire Authority.
Just before 5 p.m. he told a co-worker he was going for a dip in the pond. His body was found by divers about 8:30 p.m.
The visibility in the small pond was only about 2 feet, prompting crews to use thermal imaging on the pond to help find the body.
