President Barack Obama will visit Grand Junction next week as part of a four-state Western tour that includes stops at two national parks.
Obama hits the Grand Junction area on Saturday, Aug. 15, sandwiched between stops in Bozeman, Mont., and Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, before heading to the Grand Canyon and Phoenix.
White House aides say the trip — which begins next Friday — will include several public events. Michelle Obama and the couple’s two daughters, who are on school vacation, will accompany the president.
