From Breckenridge to Palisade, a group of Democratic state senators is taking to the highways this week to hear what kind of state Coloradans want. That’s what Democrats say is the aim behind a road tour of northwest Colorado featuring Senate president Brandon Shaffer of Longmont and other Democrats.
The tour will take the senators to county fairs, cafes and cowboy sing-alongs in Breckenridge, Empire, Hot Sulphur Springs, Winter Park, Fraser, Meeker and Palisade.
