A woman died after a car she was in rolled and a man trapped inside the car also was killed early this morning in Douglas County, authorities say.
A second man who was inside a Dodge Neon was taken to Littleton Hospital with serious injuries following the 2:15 a.m. crash on Titan Road, said Chad Teller, spokesman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
“High speed was definitely a factor,” Teller said. “The driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.”
None of the passengers has been identified, he said.
The driver was going at a high speed west on Titan Road when he lost control of the car, Teller said.
The woman who was thrown from the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. One of the two men had to be extricated from the crumpled car, he said.
The accident is under investigation, Teller said.
