Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says his team is still making too many mistakes in practice.
Pelini said after Saturday’s practice that he thought the team was sloppy at times. But Pelini says he also say some good things from the Cornhuskers.
The team practiced inside Memorial Stadium for three hours Saturday in full pads, and spent the last hour of practice scrimmaging.
Pelini says he thinks quarterback Zac Lee is starting to earn the trust and confidence of his fellow offensive players. Lee is set to replace Joe Ganz as starting quarterback this fall.
The team will take Sunday off before practicing twice on Monday.
