Interstate 25 was closed until midnight as Northglenn police investigated a fatal head-on crash that grew to include 10 cars last night.
The driver of a Jeep Liberty who was traveling south in the northbound lanes at 7:10 p.m. hit a Ford F-150 that was pulling a trailer north of 104th Avenue and then struck several other cars, said Sgt. Rick Kellogg of the Northglenn Police Department.
The driver was not identified pending notification of next of kin.
Three other people were taken to local hospitals, but their conditions were not immediately available.
Witnesses to the crash can call the Northglenn Accident Team at 303-450-8893.
