LONGMONT — A 13-year-old girl whose ear was partly bitten off by an older girl in Longmont was the aggressor in the fight and was ticketed with a municipal charge of assault in the case, police said.
In an incident report released Monday, Longmont police said a 15-year-old girl who was accused by the younger girl of biting her ear at Carr Park on Friday evening was acting in self-defense and already had sustained bite marks and other injuries in a “prolonged attack” by the younger girl.
