The body of a 57-year-old Pueblo woman missing since last week was found dead in a clump of trees near U.S. 50 and Belmont Shopping Center today, Pueblo police said.
Investigators suspect suicide. Her minivan was found in a parking lot several blocks away.
She had been missing since she failed to pick up her daughter at school Thursday, police said.
About 4 p.m. today, a man and his 15-year-old son found the body in a gathering of trees on the backside of the property at 705 Hunter Drive.
An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death, police said.
