LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska offensive coordinator Shawn Watson says he’s planning to manage his quarterbacks the same way he did in last week’s opener against Florida Atlantic.
He said Cody Green would continue to back up starter Zac Lee and get playing time against Arkansas State this week if the opportunity presents itself.
Watson said Lee must improve on getting the offense in and out of the huddle in timely fashion.
The Huskers practiced Tuesday on the grass fields northeast of Memorial Stadium.
