The Bureau of Land Management’s Colorado state office has posted its list of parcels, totaling 22,647 acres, for the quarterly oil- and gas-lease sale scheduled for Nov. 12.
For the first time in Colorado, the sale will include geothermal leasing. One parcel of 799.2 acres with subsurface federal mineral rights will be offered for geothermal development in Chaffee County, near the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort.
