Kayakers looking for a way to cap off their summer season are invited to compete in the Glenwood Ender freestyle contest at the acclaimed Glenwood Springs Whitewater Park on the Colorado River. Sunday’s season-ending competition is open to all paddlers with a Class III comfort level and a $20 entry fee. Spectators can watch the whitewater action for free as boaters perform tricks on the park’s wave and in the “hole” in the river next to it during 60-second intervals. Judges will award points based on difficulty and variety.
