ASPEN — A caddy who got into a squabble with his roommate over some cheese pleaded guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor false-imprisonment charge, as part of a plea deal that resulted in the dismissal of two felony charges.
Pitkin County Judge Erin Fernandez-Ely ordered Jon Douglas Williams, 58, to pay a $100 fine and placed him on probation through Sept. 7, 2010.
He originally faced separate, class-5 felony charges of false imprisonment and menacing, which each carried prison sentences of one to three years.
