Colorado Springs police are piecing together the circumstances that led to a woman being shot to death early today.
The 35-year-old woman has not been identified. Police said she was shot inside a car in the parking lot of the Shannon Glen Apartments at 220 North Murray Blvd. some time before 1:30 a.m. today. She died at Memorial Hospital.
Police are looking two men in a newer model red or orange Jeep Cherokee.
Both men were white, bald and between 30 and 35 years old, police said.
Police have not elaborated on the circumstances that might have led to the shooting.
On Sept. 1, a woman was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the same apartment complex at about 11:15 p.m. She was unloading groceries with her three kids with her. The robber ran away after getting cash from the woman.
