The Rockies’ loss to the Dodgers on Saturday night means the Rockies are the National League wild-card team. They will open the National League division series Wednesday against the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

Brief history of series. In their 2007 charge to the World Series, the Rockies beat the Phillies twice at Philly in the NLDS and then closed out the Phillies with a win at Coors Field. This season, the Phillies won the season series against the Rockies 4-2. The Phillies won two of three in Denver from April 10-12, then won two of three in Philadelphia from Aug. 4-6.
