Liberty Media Corp., cable billionaire John Malone’s media company, may bid for General Electric Co.’s NBC Universal, according to Dave Novosel, an analyst at Gimme Credit. But the probability of a Malone bid is “quite low,” said Novosel, who is based in New York.
“Liberty has maintained for years that it would like to acquire more operating assets that generate cash flow as opposed to passive investments,” Novosel said Friday in a note.
