An armed robber held up an ice-cream store in Fort Collins, showing a clerk a handgun before fleeing with cash.

The robbery happened at about 8 p.m. Monday at Rocky Mountain Blue Bell, 172 N. College Ave., according to a media release from the Fort Collins Police Department.

The armed robber is described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5-foot-8, with a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he wore a ski mask, a “puffy” black coat and dark jeans.

No one was injured in the heist. The robber fled the business on foot, police said.
