Most society galas require guests don formal and stuffy attire, but not Western Fantasy. The annual benefit for Volunteers of America called for “elegant Western,” meaning patrons wore blue jeans and bolo ties, riding boots with leggings, vintage accessories and trunkfuls of silver and turquoise jewelry. Fringe and embroidery, feathers and fur were flying. Here’s a look at how the West was worn at the recent fundraiser.
