LOCHBUIE, Colo.—The Colorado State Patrol says a Brighton woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Weld County, near Lochbuie.
Troopers say 28-year-old Jannelle C. DeVisser suffered fatal injuries when a vehicle struck her. A school bus driver found her body Wednesday morning near Weld County roads 37 and 8.
Investigators believe DeVisser was struck sometime between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. They didn’t have any information on a possible suspect.
