Well, Woody Paige, and the rest of the fans who wanted Simms, congratulations. I guess some folks get what they ask for. In Simms’ defense, I suppose it was a tough situation to be put into. But on the other hand, that’s his job. He is supposed to be able to come in on a moment’s notice and be effective. Good luck next week, Broncos — it’s not too late to turn things around. — Scott

The line is where games are won and lost. And the line stunk it up pretty badly today. Orton, Simms, or Branny would have had a hard time getting any yards in that second half. — JLove

Watching Brady put on a passing clinic right now. And neither Orton nor Simms will look like him throwing the ball. . . . You won’t see those two QBs throw 55 yards hitting a receiver in stride beating cover-2. Something we need to get next year in the draft. — Mike B.

Look at any elite team and they most likely have a franchise QB. Problem is they are so hard to find. Some teams don’t find one for decades. Makes me wish for 1997. —RyBenjamin
