A 50-year-old Denver man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls in his care over several years was found guilty by a Denver jury today.
Andres Hidalgo will be sentenced in February. He faces up to life in prison, according to the Denver District Attorney’s office.
He was convicted on six counts of sexual assault on a child, six counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, two counts of sexual assault on a child with a pattern of abuse and one count of sexual assault with force.
Prosecutors said Hidalgo molested the girls he was caring for in his home from early 2003 to early 2009.
