Crisanta Duran, a sixth-generation Coloradan with strong ties to labor, is the fourth Democrat running to represent House District 5 in the legislature.
The seat is held by Rep. Joel Judd, who is term-limited and running for the state Senate. The district includes portions of northwest Denver, LoDo and the state Capitol.
Duran’s experience includes working as legal counsel for the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7. Also running for the Democratic nomination in House District 5 are Mark Thrun, John Swiontek and Jose Silva.
