Westbound Interstate 70 has re-opened 2 miles east of Bennett following the collision of two semi trucks, according to the the Colorado State Patrol.

Both trucks were westbound.

One driver, a man from Loveland, was seriously injured and had to be cut from the wreckage, according to Trooper David Hall of the Colorado State Patrol.

The second driver, a woman from Aurora, was uninjured.

Hall said the accident occurred about 8 a.m. Westbound I-70 was closed for about two hours and traffic was diverted onto U.S. 36.
