COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Authorities say a woman purportedly selling magazines door-to-door was stabbed during an altercation with a Colorado Springs homeowner.

Deputies say two women may have been trying to steal from the house when they went to the door Tuesday night and a fight erupted.

Authorities say the homeowner pulled a knife, and one of the women and the homeowner were injured.

Deputies say neither person’s injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

The women fled in a van driven by a man. Police stopped the van, took the injured woman to the hospital and took the other two people into custody.

No names have been released.
