From “The Silver Spoon for Children” (Phaidon). Serves 4.
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas
1/2 lemon
4 tablespoons mascarpone cheese
8 tablespoons plain yogurt
4 teaspoons honey
Ground cinnamon
Directions
Peel the bananas and put the flesh into a bowl. Using a potato masher or a fork, mash the bananas until smooth. Squeeze the lemon juice over and mix with a fork. Add the mascarpone cheese and yogurt and mix together, then swirl through the honey. Spoon into dishes. Decorate with additional banana if desired. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
