A woman discovered murdered Sunday in an alley in the 5000 block between Fillmore and Clayton Streets has been identified as 22-year-old Allisen Falk-Compton.
Police said they have arrested Kervin Andre Rogers, 25, for investigation of first-degree murder in connection with Falk-Compton’s death.
Police said that Falk-Compton died of gunshot wounds.
Police responded to the alley about 7:50 a.m. Sunday after being notified of a body in the alley.
Sometime between the late evening hours of Saturday and the early morning hours Sunday, authorities say Falk-Compton was killed in the area which is located near some railroad tracks.
Sonny Jackson, police department spokesman, said photos of Rogers are not being released because of an on-going investigation.
