MINNEAPOLIS — Assistant Police Chief Sharon Lubinski has become the first openly gay U.S. marshal. The U.S. Senate confirmed the Green Bay, Wis., native to be U.S. marshal for the Minnesota district. She is also the state’s first female marshal.
