Ed McGrane, Kevin Ulanski and Jim Jackson scored first-period goals, then Aaron Schneekloth added another early in the second as the Colorado Eagles skated to a 4-0 lead and went on to beat the host Missouri Mavericks 5-1 in a Central Hockey League game Thursday night.
McGrane assisted on Jackson’s and Schneekloth’s goals, and Ryan Tobler and Ryan McLeod each had a pair of helpers as well. Goaltender Mike Mole stopped 44-of-45 shots.
In other Eagles news, Ulanski was named a reserve to the all-star team, joining teammates Riley Nelson and Schneekloth, who were previously announced as starters.

named Gina Larson of Longmont its player of the week for winning the Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour’s Tournament of Champions last weekend in Scottsdale, Ariz., by seven shots. The 16-year-old has committed to play for Colorado State in the fall of 2011.
