COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A South Dakota woman accused of attacking her parents is thought to be hiding in the Colorado Springs area.
Colorado Springs police said Thursday that 22-year-old Casey Blain Eleeson may be hiding there. Authorities in South Dakota say the Rapid City, S.D., woman stabbed her father and shot her mother on Tuesday at separate locations. Both 55-year-old Bruce Eleeson and 52-year-old Cindy Eleeson survived.
Police traced the daughter to a Colorado Springs motel, but she had left before officers arrived Wednesday. She is described as about 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown eyes and blonde hair.
Police say the daughter may be with a Colorado Springs man, 34-year-old Seth Michael Ebert. He’s wanted on an unrelated weapons charge.
