The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 30-year-old woman whose body was found by a neighbor Wednesday afternoon.
The woman was found just before 2 p.m. in the Sixth Avenue West subdivision.
The woman’s name and cause of death were not released. Officials indicated she had suffered a form of trauma.
