ST. PAUL, Minn. — A Minneapolis police SWAT team member was charged Thursday in the takeover-style robbery of a suburban bank, and authorities said he confessed to several other armed robberies in the Twin Cities area.
Timothy Edward Carson, 28, of Rosemount was ordered held without bail during a brief federal-court hearing.
