AURORA, Colo.—A man found shot dead in an SUV outside an Aurora apartment complex has been identified as a former University of Colorado football player who was there in the 1980s.
Aurora police say 44-year-old William Harvey was found dead Wednesday morning but they have not identified a suspect or disclosed a motive for the killing. Police say Harvey lived a few miles away from the apartment complex.
The University of Colorado confirmed this week that Harvey played cornerback for the Buffaloes in 1986 and 1987.
