DENVER—U.S. Sen. Mark Udall is promoting legislation aimed at increasing the amount of money credit unions can led to small businesses.
Udall plans a news conference Tuesday morning at the Credit Union Association of Colorado to talk about his legislation. He will be joined by a Thornton woman who says she had to get a second mortgage on her house to open a salon five years ago.
Udall says small business need help to thrive and boost the economy.
