WESTMINSTER, Colo.—If it’s Jan. 26, then the Westminster Fire crews are probably out delivering babies.

For the second year in a row, Westminster Fire delivered a baby on that date after getting a call that a woman was in labor at a house at 3:53 a.m. Tuesday. Fire officials say crews helped deliver the baby moments after arriving.

The mother, Vanessa Martinez, and her baby boy, Damian Jr., are doing fine.

Last Jan. 26, Westminster Fire also successfully delivered a baby. In that case the delivery happened in an ambulance.
