Max Schairer, a 2008 X Games silver medalist who is on the Austrian team for the Vancouver Olympics, got caught up in a crash in the boardercross semifinals and was taken off on a toboggan. He suffered a concussion, but was conscious upon arrival at a hospital. Earlier this season, the 22-year-old Schairer injured his ACL in a race in Sunday River, Maine.
