BOULDER, Colo.—A Boulder man accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend is suspected of using high-tech gadgetry to keep tabs on the woman.
Police say 37-year-old Christopher Spiewak broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and installed voice recorders. He’s also accused of putting spyware on her computer to monitor her computer activities.
The 26-year-old woman told police that Spiewak was using a key to enter her apartment. She also said she’d received threatening e-mail from Spiewak after the couple parted last year.
Spiewak faces charges of domestic-violence-related stalking, second-degree burglary, computer crimes and repeated harassment.
