A Denver medical office building sustained heavy smoke damage and receptionist was checked out for minor smoke inhalation after a fire this afternoon, according to the Denver Fire Department.
The flames were limited to a utility room in the building at 496 South Dayton St.
Firefighters extinguished it in about five minutes, said Lt. Phil Champagne.
