BOULDER — The 18-year-old driver of a maroon Honda was killed when he ran a stop sign at 66th Street and Marshall Road at about 6 p.m. Thursday, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Trooper David Hall said Joseph C. Neal, 18, Longmont was killed when he ran the stop sign and was hit by a Jeep traveling east on Marshall. Neal, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, where he was pronounced dead.
An 18-year-old passenger in the Honda was also wearing a seat belst and was taken to Avista for minor injuries.
The 23-year-old woman who was driving the Jeep did not have any apparent injuries but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, Hall said.
