The dates for consideration of an overhaul of Denver’s zoning laws have changed again, delaying expected final City Council consideration to June instead of April.

Under a revised scheduled, Denver’s Community Planning and Development Department will host one-on-one sessions with the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today to go over concerns. The sessions will be in the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Building, 201 W. Colfax Ave., in the fourth-floor conference room. If you plan to attend, register at .

Also, the city’s planning board will begin a formal review and adoption process Wednesday with a series of information sessions that will end in a public hearing in April. Then the planning board will forward a recommendation to the City Council.

The Blueprint Denver Committee of the council will consider the code in late April or early May, followed by a review and discussion of the new code by the mayor and council. The council is expected to hold a public hearing and give final consideration in June. The Denver Post
