Forward Darren Haydar and defenseman Ruslan Salei will be two of the Avalanche’s three healthy scratches against Phoenix tonight at the Pepsi Center, Colorado coach Joe Sacco said after the morning skate.
Sacco said he would decide later if he would include John-Michael Liles in tonight’s lineup, calling that a “game-time decision.” Liles has been a healthy scratch the last three games. Sacco’s options would be to include Liles and scratch another defenseman, or to suit up seven defensemen and go with 11 forwards.
