A Colorado man has been arrested as a suspect in the death of his ex-wife.
Daryll Glenn Brown, 45, was taken into custody at about noon in Fort Collins where he turned himself in to authorities in the presence of his attorney, said Mark Techmeyer, a spokesman with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Brown is being held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond on suspicion of first-degree murder and domestic violence, Techmeyer said.
The body of Alisha Brown, 30, was found on Dec. 30 inside her Sixth Avenue West subdivision home in Jefferson County. A friend looked through a window of the home after he couldn’t contact Brown and spotted the body.
When deputies arrived, they forced entry into the home and found Alisha, who suffered blunt force trauma.
Daryll Brown is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
