Union membership in Colorado fell to 7 percent of all workers last year, down from 8 percent in 2008, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday.

At labor’s peak in 1990, 10.5 percent of Colorado workers belonged to a union. There were 153,000 union members in the state, bureau regional commissioner Stanley Suchman said in a statement.
