BROOMFIELD, Colo.—At least two cats have died in a mobile home fire in Broomfield.
North Metro Fire Rescue says a woman was taken to the hospital to be assessed after the fire Monday morning, but her injuries were not life-threatening.
The resident owned nine cats. Two died in the fire, two were found, and five were missing.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but firefighters say it started in the bedroom area.
