Denver police want the public to be careful and on the lookout for a well-dressed thief.
The thief has been targeting elderly women in grocery stores and parking lots, stealing their wallets and purses. The suspect has been spotted using the stolen victims’ credit cards immediately afterward to purchase high-end items. He is described as a white male in his 40s, with a balding head, a light goatee, and well dressed.
Tuesday, he was at the Safeway on East 5th Avenue and Corona Street, and is suspected to be involved in many other robberies. No one has been reported injured in any of the cases.
