ORLANDO, Fla.—The Powerball jackpot was expected to grow to an estimated $114 million for Wednesday since no one matched all six of the numbers drawn over the weekend, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.
The numbers drawn Saturday were 18, 47, 51, 53 and 58. The Powerball was 30 and the Power Play was 2.
Tickets matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $96.5 million jackpot.
Four tickets sold in Arizona, Florida, Kansas and Rhode Island matched the first five numbers only to win $200,000 each. The top prize in Colorado was $20,000 for a Power Play ticket that matched the Powerball plus four of the other numbers, Colorado Lottery officials said.
Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.
The game is now played in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
