AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Jacques Lamoureux and Blake Page each had two goals and an assist as Air Force continued its offensive outburst with an 8-1 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday night. The Falcons downed the Pioneers 6-3 on Friday.

Page got Air Force on the scoreboard with an unassisted, short-handed score with about four minutes left in the first period.

Lamoureux scored his 19th goal of the season not quite three minutes later off assists from Tim Kirby and Stephen Carew, then got his 20th with only 22 seconds left in the period — a power-play score — off a feed from Kirby and a secondary assist from Carew.

Page scored another short-handed goal to start the scoring in the second period, then Carew got into the act with his sixth goal of the season off feeds from Derrick Burnett and Kirby.

Falcons goaltender Andrew Volkening got some rest as he was pulled after 48 minutes of work, with 19 saves in 20 chances. Backups Stephen Caple and David Bosner each got about five minutes of work between the pipes.

Air Force outshot Sacred Heart 48-32. Not only did the Falcons have a 3-of-9 mark on the power plays, they held the Pioneers to 0-of-3 with the man advantage — and scored the two short-handed goals.
