ASPEN, Colo.—A California man has pleaded guilty to charges of passing counterfeit $100 bills in Aspen last summer.

Thirty-three-year-old Andrew Allan McCollom of Escondido, Calif., pleaded guilty Monday to felony forgery.

He faces two to six years in prison at his sentencing, scheduled for May 3.

Two other men from Escondido are accused of working with McCollom. Their cases are still in court.

Prosecutors say $1,300 to $1,700 in counterfeit money was circulated in Aspen in August.
