Avalanche defenseman Ruslan Salei will be out indefintely because of an injury to his torso, the team announced this morning.

Salei, who had previously missed much of the season following back surgery, suffered the injury Saturday against St. Louis.

Avs defenseman Kyle Cumiskey, out lately with a concussion, practiced this morning and coach Joe Sacco said he will play Tuesday night against Vancouver.
